It’s Friday, finally. This week was super slow and uneventful. Again, all we did was school and play. The weather is getting frigid, and I had to turn the fireplace on a few mornings to warm up the downstairs. Still need to work on getting our fall pictures taken for the Christmas card I have procrastinated on that this year for some reason. I think it has to do with the hassle of actually taking the pictures and getting the kids to all look at the camera.
The leaves on the trees are changing slowly this year; I remember last year when we took pictures. We had tons of leaves already on the ground, but this year we have hardly any. I love fall it is my favorite season of the year, and I honestly don’t mind Winter either it’s just the pain of getting the kids ready and out the door that drives me nuts. I mean seriously, I feel like a sweaty mess once I gear up the girls…
On another note, I am planning on going to a meet up soon with other writers in my area. This makes me nervous thinking about it. I mull it over in my head thinking of all the things that could go wrong, and you know what? Those things don’t happen, ever. For example, we are meeting at a coffee shop that I have never been to, and I hate being “that person” standing in line staring at the menu for a good ten minutes deciding what to order. So, just to make sure that I am not “that person” I look online at the menu…. yes, I am odd, I know.
I think that this will be a good thing for me, though. I need to branch out and connect with other writers in my area. The meeting is about using the Scrivener software to help us write and plan out our Novels. Scrivener has so many neat features that I haven’t tapped into yet, so I am excited to learn all about them and hopefully familiarize myself a bit more with it.
Alright, enough of my ramblings thanks for sticking with me. I hope that you all had a wonderful week and that you have a relaxing weekend. It’s school this morning and a new episode of Shark Tank tonight! Bye for now… See you Monday!
